JAPAN BLUE JEANS A denim brand from Okayama Prefecture's Kojima area, boasting a global reputation as a denim production center. Started in 2011 with the aim of spreading the quality of MADE IN JAPAN DENIM overseas. They propose jeans with a new perspective that combines the recognized silhouette in Europe and America with the quality of domestic production.
Becomes supple as you wear it The fabric used is "Bizen Ichigo." Developed by "Takeyari," a canvas factory with a history of 130 years in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. This canvas fabric is woven at an ultra-high density, using an old-fashioned Belgian shuttle loom instead of the usual modern loom.
Because old-fashioned looms can only produce about 1/10th of the fabric in a day compared to normal looms, productivity is poor. However, the fabric's texture and suppleness are exceptional because it is woven carefully and slowly.
By weaving thick yarn at high density, durability is excellent. Moreover, it has good breathability, making it comfortable to wear even in spring and summer.
Initially, it has some stiffness, but as you wear it, the fabric becomes soft and supple, which is its characteristic. With repeated wearing, the cotton feels smooth, providing the ultimate wearing comfort.
Simple yet detailed Although it has a simple design, it is packed with details such as a zipper fly for ease of use and L-pockets on both sides that do not compromise the silhouette.
The three-stitch lines typical of work pants provide both a visual accent and high durability.
Casual yet elegant look With a deep rise for stability and a straight silhouette for a neat appearance, it offers a good balance of casual and elegant. The length is longer, so you can enjoy it as you like, whether you cuff the hem or have it tailored for a smart look.
